When the San Francisco 49ers unveiled new bold black alternate jerseys Thursday night, some noticed the uniforms had a striking and suspicious resemblance to the other team from the Bay Area.
So the Oakland Raiders decided to have some fun by trolling the 49ers (and even some of their own fans) with a fake announcement that they’re also adding new alternate jerseys.

Well played, Raiders. It’s not often that anyone utters that phrase these days.
But it seems these two teams are moving in opposite directions this offseason and there’s certainly much more optimism among fans in Oakland than in San Francisco with less than four and a half months until the start of the season.
