The Arizona Cardinals struck a trade on Friday, acquiring ex-Eagles quarterback Barkley in exchange for a conditional seventh round draft pick, according to FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer.

The conditional pick will turn to a sixth-rounder if Barkley remains on the Cardinals’ roster after six games.
A former 2013 third round pick (No. 98 overall) out of USC, Barkley has completed just 30 of 50 passes for 300 yards with four interceptions and no touchdowns through four regular season games in Philly.
The 6-foot-2, 227-pound signal-caller was in a battle with Tim for the team’s No. 3 QB job throughout the offseason and preseason, and this trade likely means Tim will make the final roster.
Barkley will now take over as Arizona’s third-string quarterback behind Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton. Last year’s fourth round pick, Logan Thomas, has just been released from the Cardinals.
